Nine K-9 units have arrived in Marawi City on Tuesday.
Joint Task Force Ranao Deputy Commander Romeo Brawner Jr. said the K-9 units will be deployed in the main battle area.

They will help in the clearing operations as government forces scour the buildings used as lairs by the Maute-ISIS terrorists during the siege.
The K-9 units are particularly searching for explosive devices.
Operatives from Explosive and Ordnance units are detonating the bombs being discovered.
Some foreign experts have also arrived in Marawi City to assist in the clearing operations.
