Using their bodies as instruments in dance, children may explore shapes, space and movement in response to challenges and problem-solving in Creative Dance and Body Movements for Kids, a workshop scheduled Sept. 9 at the MCAD Multimedia Room of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s (DLS-CSB) Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MCAD).
The three-hour workshop will introduce participants to creative dance and body movement for theater. Participants will learn from DLS-CSB’s Office of Culture and the Arts Cultural Events Promotions Coordinator Julia Enriquez and TAXI Theater Founder and Creative Navigator Eric de la Cruz.
The workshop is free and open to all kids aged 7 to 11 as part of the public programs for MCAD Manila’s current exhibition, Re-enactments. Limited slots are available.
