The 55-piece world-class ensemble Manila Symphony Orchestra with conductor Prof. Arturo Molina held a concert dubbed as ‘Sweet Symphonies: Bach vs. Beatles’ at St. Anne Parish (Molo Church) in Iloilo City on Aug. 25, 2017. The concert was held upon the invitation of Ilonggo Senator Franklin M. Drilon, who vows to bring back Iloilo’s culture and arts to their old glory. The renowned orchestra’s last concert in the province was held in 1985. MSO was established in 1926 by Viennese conductor Alexander Lippay.
