PAGASA has raised tropical warning signal number 2 over the following provinces:
Isabela
Northern Aurora
Quirino
Kalinga
Mountain Province
Ifugao
Ilocos Sur
Benguet
Abra
La Union
Nueva Vizcaya
Meanwhile, tropical cyclone signal number 1 is up over the following provinces:
Apayao
Rest of Aurora
Ilocos Norte
Nueva Ecija
Pangasinan
Northern Quezon including Polillo island
Catanduanes
Camarines Norte
Camarines Sur
These storm signals are put in place as tropical storm "Jolina" strengthens as it moves toward Isabela and Aurora.
The weather bureau says, Jolina will be characterized by moderate to heavy rains.
The brunt of the storm will be felt today and tomorrow.
The rains are expected to subside by Sunday.
PAGASA warns that Jolina will affect mostly the mountainous areas so the threat of landslides and flashfloods is high.
