Fast food chains are currently on a roll in making us smile, cry, and fall in love (or bitter, whatever is the state of your heart).
The latest in the series of kilig-inducing videos is the feel-good short clip of real-life couples who share their real stories of love that happened at McDonald’s or involved their favorite McDo products.
Entitled “Love Kita,” the video currently up on YouTube is McDo’s way of celebrating Romance Awareness Month, happening this August.
Stories in the online clip include the teenage couple who had the Internet buzzing over their DIY Chicken McNuggets bouquet, the long-distance lovers who shared their first meal together at McDo, the two teenagers who first met at the fast food, and the guy who proposed to his long-time girlfriend by placing the engagement ring inside a Big Mac box.
Amid the current culture of cynicism online the two-minute video gives glimmer of hope and reason for people to smile and believe in love again. “Love Kita” has 9,515 views, as of this writing.
