Adefuin Design Studio (ADS) recently won an Asia Pacific Property Award in the Interior Design Apartment category for its project “32 Manila ORT.” The latter was a design project for a full renovation of a 320-sq.m. condominium apartment that incorporated a design style called “tactile modern. IDr. Jigs Ranada, principal interior designer and managing partner at ADS, said: “The 32 Manila ORT project was borne out of the impetus to create something new. This ‘newness’ was spurred by a desire not just to innovate and modernize, but produce something present and international.” Shown here, respectively, are the Adefuin dining area, adorned with a dark maple 12-seater Giorgetti dining table, solid oak chairs, and a table is crowned by Venini Murano glass crystals; and bedroom, with a king-sized bed by Poltrona Frau, and a tufted leather headboard resting on an accent wall framed in a walnut wood veneer with a dark wengue and stainless steel strip finish.
