PAGASA eyes a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
The weather system is located west of Northern Luzon.
The tropical depression is currently about 475 kilometers west of Cagayan.
PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio however says, the tropical depression is not expected to enter PAR.
Aurelio provided the latest update in a press briefing at 11 am.
He says, rains and cloudy weather will prevail today until tomorrow in Luzon as severe tropical storm "Gorio" continues to enhance the southwest monsoon.
The sun will shine on Sunday.
Meanwhile, water levels in dams across the country remain stable.
Only IPO dam's water elevation level reached critical level on Friday so its water was diverted to Lamesa dam.
