Tropical depression “Gorio” has developed into a tropical storm.
It has slowed down as it moves north-northwest.
As of 4 pm on Wednesday, Gorio was located 614 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.
The storm is packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kilometers per hour.
Gorio is moving north at 13 kilometers per hour.
Metro Manila is experiencing continuous rains due to the southwest monsoon that currently affects Luzon and Western Visayas.
Yellow rainfall warning remains up over Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
This means, light to moderate rains will go on.
PAGASA says, this kind of weather may last until this coming weekend.
