FATHER Jaime Padilla, parish priest of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of the gated Brookside Hills Subdivision in Cainta, Rizal, will be the guest of honor during the 6th anniversary on Wednesday, July 26, of the church’s Elderly Ministry.
The three-hour fellowship of breakfast and musical presentation at the 2nd floor of the Multi-Purpose Hall in front of the church will be preceded by a 6 a.m. Mass to be officiated by Fr. Padilla, who took over from Fr. Gerry Evarola three months ago.
Evarola, who founded the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Elderly Ministry in 2011, with Willie Imperial of Cabugao, Ilocos Sur as president, has since been assigned to Binangonan in the eastern sector of Rizal following his sacerdotal caravan.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is under the Diocese of Antipolo with seven mini pastoral councils under the direction of Fr. Padilla, who had repeatedly said “Every good act has a reward and every evil move has its sanction.”
