NOVELETA, Cavite—Mayor Dino Reyes Chua is scheduled to present his accomplishments in his first year of service as the chief executive of the smallest town in the province of Cavite on Monday, after the 8 a.m. flag raising program.
Chua will be presenting his projects that have been beneficial to the people of Noveleta in front of 16 barangay chairmen and councilors, local government staff, investors and citizens of the town.
Chua is also set to present the peace and order situation of the town with the assistance of Senior Insp. Henry Salazar, acting chief of police, and following the orders of President Rodrigo Duterte’s war against illegal drugs.
The mayor managed to find funding for the construction of the Noveleta Food Court with the assistance of the Department of Health, which provided a P10-million fund for it to be built by the town’s chief of Barangay San Jose.
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources also raised a total of P5.16 million for the Fisher’s Hub built in Barangay San Rafael IV.
Chua continues to provide Educational Assistance to hundreds of students in the town, and has appointed the Monthly Job Fair for jobless citizens that have brought good results for each applicant.
The mayor is also proud of his project of Senior Citizens’ Free Movies to every Noveleta grandfather and grandmother in SM Rosario.
He will also feature the town’s Clean and Green program and the Mangrove planting in San Rafael IV.
Chua also provided time for Noveletano youth in the Children’s Day program in November 2016.
He recorded the union of Roman and Aglipayan believers in marriage in the same Karakol Fiesta during the Holy Cross patron’s sailing.
Chua will also urge investors to build businesses in the town, as proved by the rise of revenue collections in the first six months until April this year.
