Ceres-Negros also made it to the ASEAN semis following a 4-2 win over Hanoi on Wednesday in a Group G encounter over at the Panaad Park in Bacolod.

Mulders booted in the match’s first goal 12 minutes into the game, converting on Paolo Salenga’s cross.

His right-footed effort into the bottom right corner put the Filipino squad ahead at 1-0.

They sank their second goal in the 27th minute when Minegishi curled a left footed shot after Shu Sasaki and Darryl Roberts gave him support support at  the penalty box.

After that, the Cambodians gave the Filipinos a scare when  Sath Rosib pulled one back from four minutes after the second half.

With the result, Global Cebu will take on S-League’s Home United of Singapore in the  two-leg ASEAN semifinal in two week’s time.

Ceres-Negros, which finished with a same 3-2-1 win-draw-loss card with Hanoi, will have Johor Darul Ta’Zim as their semis foe.

They took the early lead on two goals from Bienvenido Maranon in the 6th and 22nd minutes.
