Boracay Water, the water and used water service provider in Boracay Island, reached a record high water supply production of over 20 million liters per day to support the 54,867 tourist arrivals during the Holy Week.
The Malay Tourism Office said tourist influx in the island during the Lenten break increased 23 percent from the previous year’s 44,786 visitors. The higher tourist arrivals resulted in a total demand of 20.07 MLD from Boracay Water’s supply.
