Vehicle manufacturer Isuzu has informed the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) that the ordinary passenger bus involved in the accident in Nueva Ecija was thirty three (33) years old.
LTFRB Board Member Aileen Lizada says, she was told by Isuzu Philippines that the Leomarick Trans bus was manufactured in 1984.

Isuzu Philippines got the information from its mother company, Isuzu Japan.
The remarks from the vehicle manufacturer was in response to the inquiry made by the LTFRB through a letter on April 20, 2017.
A total of 33 victims were killed when the bus fell off a ravine in Barangay Capintalan, Carranglan, Nueva Ecija last April 18.
