The video has garnered 1.5 million views in less than a week and the story is now making rounds in major entertainment sites online. Ella is definitely enjoying the same kind of attention Charice Pempengco had experienced, when she was still a bankable singer.

The year 2016 was a great year for the multi-awarded filmmaker and this year is no exception. As early as March, before the awards season starts, Mendoza added another feather on his cap when he took home another best director trophy for his movie Ma’ Rosa. This time, the award was from the 2017 Malaysia Global Awards, a two-year-old film event that aims to promote Malaysia’s film, art and culture while recognizing excellent Asian films and filmmakers.

The biggest LizQuen movie has set the bar high. A strong contender for being the most successful film of the year, My Ex and Whys is making a killing at the tills. As of Friday last week, the romantic flick has snagged P341 million worldwide. This includes ticket sales from local cinemas, as well as screenings in the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, the US and Canada. Producer Star Cinema announced the figure in a thanksgiving party, which was attended by lead stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
