Pantone has announced Greenery as its Color of the Year for 2017, symbolic of hope and new beginnings as a reflection of a desire to “disconnect” in a tense world and go back to nature.
The calming green hue of the Emerald is an expression of growth, renewal and fertility, reflecting the environment and ringing in the new year. A natural precious stone, emeralds are often described as looking like foliage and sometimes known as “jardin,” French for garden. The color of the John Hardy Brazilian Emerald is a lush green with strong saturation, creating a unique opaqueness. Emeralds of this type are not typically available in a larger size and by using opaque, saturated stones, John Hardy is able to deliver a rare and beautiful stone to the market that’s full of character.
John Hardy Boutiques are in Rustan’s Ayala Center, Ayala Avenue, Makati City; Rustan’s Shangri-La Plaza Mall, EDSA cor. Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City; and Rustan’s Ayala Center, Bohol Avenue, Cebu City.
