One of the three Koreans allegedly victimized by seven policemen in Angeles, Pampanga in robbery and extortion activities has surfaced at the PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) office in Pampanga to give testimony.
Authorities have yet to identify the Korean but the victim arrived at the police office at past 10 am Tuesday.
The foreigner was accompanied by witnesses – two house helpers and a friend who supposedly gave the extortion money to the cops.
Police investigators are conducting a case conference on whether robbery with extortion or kidnapping charges should be filed against the accused policemen.
On December 30, 2016, at around 6:30 pm at Friendship Plaza Subdivision, 3 Koreans were allegedly taken, beaten and threatened by seven police officers who allegedly extorted money from them.
The Koreans were detained for 7 hours and were reportedly released only after paying P 300,000.
