Crocs, a world leader in innovative casual footwear for men, women and children, has donated more than three million pairs of shoes to people in need around the world as part of its global Crocs Cares corporate social responsibility platform.
In the Philippines, Crocs’ showed that it cares when it recently held a trade-in promo in partnership with SM Supplies and BDO. Customers were given a discount when they traded in their old kids’ Crocs to purchase a new pair of Crocs for the kids. Crocs was able to collect over 500 pairs during the promo period, which were donated to the SM Foundation.
Beneficiaries of the donation to SM Foundation will enjoy Crocs features of Croslite material, a proprietary, revolutionary technology that gives each pair of shoes the soft, comfortable, lightweight, non-marking and odor-resistant qualities. They will also have school supplies as Crocs and SM Stationery also donated All-in-one School packs of bags with school supplies.
Crocs purchases now enable shoppers to earn points for their SM Advantage, Prestige and BDO Rewards cards.
