SENATOR Sonny Angara has renewed his call to raise the hazard pay of all personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines who are assigned in conflict areas in the wake of President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to go “full force” against the Abu Sayyaf.
“We have long been calling for an increase in the hazard pay of soldiers because the P390 monthly pay is very small especially if thousands of soldiers are facing grave danger everyday,” he said.
