Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. and Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla are celebrating their daughter Loudette Bautista’s achievement as she has officially become a Doctor of Medicine after passing the 2024 Physician Licensure Examination.
The couple was overjoyed upon learning at midnight that Loudette was among the successful examinees. Sen. Bong immediately shared the news during a Facebook Live session.
Their friends and supporters joined in the celebration. Dr. Loudette completed her pre-med studies at Ateneo de Manila University and earned her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC).
“She has proven to herself that her dream is reachable, not only for herself but also for her family and the public she wants to serve as a doctor,” Sen. Bong posted. “Congratulations to our Dra. Loudette for passing the 2024 Physician Licensure Board Exams! You’re a certified doctor now, my dear! You bring pride, joy, and honor to the whole family! Thank you for fulfilling Daddy’s dream to have a doctor in the family. Thank you, God!”
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the Revilla family, as Loudette is the first doctor in their lineage. Last year, her sister Attorney Inah Bautista-del Rosario also made headlines by passing the bar exams, further elevating the family’s status with a lawyer and now a doctor.
“Long live, Dra. Loudette Bautista! You are now licensed to heal, and many are happy and hopeful for your next triumphs! Surely, you’ll be a great help to numerous Filipinos,” the senator concluded.
