The Caloocan City Government will begin the construction of a three-storey Barangay Health Center with Lying-in and Daycare Center at Phase 4, Package 4, Barangay 176, Caloocan.
This is after Mayor Oscar "Oca" Malapitan presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of the new project Friday morning.
Together with Mayor Oca at the ceremony were Councilor Enteng Malapitan, City Administrator Engr. Oliver Hernandez, and City Health Officer Dr. Evelyn Cuevas.
According to Mayor Oca, one of his priorities in his last year as mayor is to repair and beautify health centers in the city.
"Nais natin na magkaroon nang mas maayos na government health facilities para sa ating mga mamamayan higit na ngayong nasa gitna pa tayo ng pandemya. Kung ano ang mas kailangan ng mga tao, iyon ang ating inuuna," said the City Mayor.
