A grandson of Atienza, Nico is also a candidate for fifth district councilor.
Councilor DJ Bagatsing, who is seeking reelection in the fourth district, is a nephew of the late Manila Mayor Ramon Bagatsing, while fifth district Councilor Mon Yupangco, also eyeing another term, is a nephew of the late Mayor Mel Lopez.
Reelectionist Edward Maceda in the fourth district is a son of the late Senator Ernesto Maceda, who was among the closest allies of former Manila mayor and President Joseph Estrada.
Lacuna and Servo are running under the local party Asenso Manileno, founded by the former’s father, ex-Vice Mayor Danny Lacuna.
