Online streaming site KTX Philippines has announced the record-breaking feats achieved on the platform by boy love movie Gameboys tallying the highest record of sold tickets during its opening weekend, and P-Pop group SB19 setting the record as the highest-earning concert.
Gameboys, headlined by Elijah Canlas and Kokoy De Santos, which is yet to be exhibited in commercial cinemas, is the movie version of the BL series that premiered on May 20 last year.
“Maraming Salamat sa lahat nga mga nanood ng Gameboys The Movie. Salamat sa walang sawang suporta ninyo. Love lots!” Kokoy posted on Twitter as soon as he heard the good news.
As of writing, the film produced by IdeaFirst Company, is still available for streaming as the movie tickets are still on sale on ktx.ph until Aug.10.
Meanwhile, SB19 thanked its fandom for supporting Back in the Zone, which VVIP and VIP tickets were sold out 30 minutes after its release.
“We love you so much, A’TIN! Yun lang masasabi namin,” the group said on social media.
Through the virtual concert, SB19 was able to perform their original tracks including their newest single “SLMT,” which they sang live for the first time.
Back in the Zone was SB19’s third concert since 2019, and its second virtual concert done during the pandemic.
