After all the speculations about Pokwang joining GMA Network, the comedienne has finally broken her silence.
In Pokwang’s Instagram account, she has shared in her story a photo together with comedians Boobay and Tekla, who both share a hosting job in a GMA comedy program.
“The long wait is over” was the caption written in the photo shared by Pokwang as it was revealed that she will be the guest for “The Boobay and Tekla Show” this Sunday (June 20).
Previously, the variety show also posted in its official Facebook account a teaser for its latest episode featuring a special guest. Netizens were quick to presume that the special guest was Pokwang pointing out that her participation in the network was prior distinguished through her official Instagram account.
In her previous Instagram post, she has shared a selfie picture that was presumably taken in a dressing room with GMA as the building in the background. The post was accompanied by her overwhelming emotions for being able to do what she loves, which is working in front of the camera.
“[M]insan di ko alam talaga kung deserve ko nga talaga lahat ng biyaya at mga dasal na sinasagot mo Lord God pero sa pagkakaalam ko nararapat lang na ikay pasalamat sa lahat ng ganap sa aking buhay maganda man o hindi,” she stated in her Instagram post.
The clues for Pokwang’s participation in the Kapuso network were also noticed in the comments shared by artists not only from GMA but also from her Kapamilya family.
They congratulated and showed their excitement for the comedy actress towards her achievement on her possible comeback in television.
A post from a fan page of GMA also went viral as Pokwang has a picture taken with Katrina Halili, which was predicted to have a collaboration for the upcoming Kapuso shows.
Pokwang’s latest project was with Regal Entertainment wherein she was part of the casts for the movie “Mommy Issues” that was streamed online last month in accordance with the Mother's day celebration.
Despite the vacancy on entertainment projects, Pokwang still finds her way to be busy during the pandemic. She focused on their home-based food business “PokLee” together with her husband Lee O’ Brian.
