In the final episode of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition,” two global candidates will battle to decide who’s going to win the $250,000 job offer and become ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong’s “Apprentice” and Chief Of Staff.
Filipino Louie Sangalang struts his wares against Jessica Ramella in a battle between two smart, fiery, and outspoken candidates, and their clash has sparked debate online as to who deserves to win and become the ultimate “Apprentice.”
ONE Championship’s stars and World Champions were asked to give their respective predictions, and they picked Jessica to win by a narrow margin of 7-6.
The Venezuelan garnered votes from ONE Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee, former two-sport World Champion Stamp Fairtex, the legendary Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, American star “Super” Sage Northcutt, Indian wrestling sensation Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat, Evolve MMA star Amir Khan, and Wushu World Champion Priscilla Hertati “Thatie” Lumban Gaol.
On the other hand, 43-year-old Louie got major support from his compatriots, starting with reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio and former World Champs Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon, and Brandon “The Truth” Vera.
He also got some backing from reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Arjan “Singh” Bhullar and Indonesian grappling specialist Eko Roni Saputra.
The close call embodies the neck-and-neck race to the finish between the Filipino and the Venezuelan.
They have ultimately developed a good bond and a mutual respect for one another, owing to their many similarities in their approach in the show.
That’s why no matter who wins, they will both be happy.
“She will always have the highest regard on my end because I’ve seen how she really fought for her place to be in the finals,” Louie said of Jessica.
“I think that’s the reason why even if she’s my greatest competitor in the finals, it doesn’t matter for me. She deserves to be there.”
Jessica reciprocated Louie’s statement.
“I think that Louie and I are the perfect two finalists for this competition. May the best person win,” she said.
