Five more courses at the University of Caloocan City were recently awarded Certificates of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
CHED recognized the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System, Bachelor of Secondary Education Majors in English and Science, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Major in Home Economics courses for their compliance to CHED standards and to provide quality education for UCC students.
Mayor Oscar Malapitan congratulated and thanked the university leadership led by University OIC Prof. Marilyn De Jesus, Vice President for Academics lawyer Roderick Vera, College of Education Dean Ramona Prado, and College of Business and Accountancy Dean Dr. Shirly Saragcon.
Last month, five other courses were also awarded from the university’s College of Business and Accountancy.
Last year, four courses in Computer Studies and one in Criminology also received their COPC.
“Quality education has become a legacy during the time of our current local administration. The leadership, faculty and even students of UCC have been inspired. Only under the leadership of Mayor Oca has COPC been awarded to the university for its focus on the goal to provide quality and free education for the city’s youth,” said Prof. De Jesus.
