As practiced in Chinese communities around the world, families enjoy the zong zi—a traditional dish made with sticky rice and several fillings—during the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar to mark the Dragon Boat Festival.
This year, with the Dragon Boat Festival falling on June 14, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s authentic Cantonese restaurant, Lung Hin, is serving up a timeless dish for guests to share with their loved ones, friends, and colleagues.
There is the Guangdong Traditional Glutinous Rice Dumpling, which includes roasted duck, pork belly, and dried scallops; and the Marinated Pork with Five Spices, which has pork belly, dried shrimps, and preserved pickled salted egg. Both variants are wrapped in lotus leaves and are available at P998 and P698, respectively.
Large volume and advanced orders are accepted via (632) 7720 7777 or [email protected] until 15 June 2021.
Located on Level 44, Lung Hin accepts dine-in guests in compliance with the regulations issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Pasig City government.
