DPWH National Capital Region director Eric Ayapana identified the sections for repair along EDSA as the north bound direction near corner Kaingin Road, Quezon City covering 60.75 square meters, as well as its south bound portion to A. Bonifacio Avenue, first lane from sidewalk of about 200 square meters.

The agency will also work on two southbound portions of C-5 Road affecting the areas of Rajah Matanda, M.G. Dizon Street, and Magsaysay Avenue, each covering 630 square meters of the road.

Motorists are advised to temporarily avoid these areas and take alternative roads within the duration of the road repair activities.

The MMDA also announced a manhole restoration along EDSA northbound affecting the areas of Centris Station in Quezon City and along C-5 Road Katipunan Northbound from Shell to Countryside starting Friday.

“To give way to the restoration, one lane beside the sidewalk will be occupied from 10 p.m. later tonight and will be passable to vehicles by 5 a.m. on Monday, May 24,” the agency stated.

Activities will cover opening of three manholes and two entry/exit holes on the two locations.
