“Online classes are a big challenge for our students, especially those in college. We hope that the value our scholars will receive will greatly help their education especially in the midst of the ongoing pandemic,” said Along.

The legislator also assured that he will continue to find ways to promote the welfare of students and the quality of education in Caloocan City.

“The government needs to invest in the students because they will be the stewards of the future of our country. So it is only right that we support their dreams and aspirations in life. With enough help, proper guidance and enhancing their abilities and talent, they will not be far away,” added Along.

It was also Along who authored the ordinance on the implementation of free tuition fee for UCC students when he was councilor of Caloocan City.

Meanwhile, the distribution of educational assistance is scheduled every Tuesday at the distribution site designated by the UCC administration.
