“The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” Episode 3 airs in the Philippines this Monday, 5 April, at 9 p.m. on One Sports.
So far, Philippine candidates Louie Sangalang and Lara Pearl Alvarez remain safe after two episodes of the show, but they’ve had contrasting runs.
With that in mind, what’s at stake for both Filipinos heading into the next episode? Here’s what’s waiting for both candidates when the show airs in the country in a few days.
A Continuous Run For Louie Sangalang
Entering the show, Sangalang never lacked confidence in himself, as he promised to showcase what he can bring to the table the moment the competition began – and it’s been “so far so good” for the 43-year-old cancer survivor.
After two episodes, Sangalang has lived up to the billing, being one of the brightest members of Team Valor.
In the first episode, Sangalang shone brightly, particularly in the physical challenge, where he towed his squad to the first win of the competition.
Last week, Sangalang took the lead in the business challenge as well, catapulting Team Valor to another victory. So far, they’ve won all four challenges with the Filipino playing a big role in his team’s success.
Now it’s all about maintaining his momentum as the show continues to pick up speed.
Turn Around Needed For Lara Pearl Alvarez And Team Conquest
While Sangalang had an auspicious start on the show, Alvarez was was put on the chopping block in the first episode.
She did escape the boot as Sityodtong later revealed that there would be no eliminations in the maiden episode.
Like a warrior, Alvarez licked her wounds and carried on to the next episode, where she redeemed herself during the Andaz Singapore pitch in the business challenge.
Also, she defended her squad in the boardroom, which was appreciated by Sityodtong and she was left off the chopping block.
But they need wins, and they need it fast, especially as they saw two members – Roman Wilson and Alvin Ang – eliminated, leaving just six members of the team moving forward.
Will Sangalang continue to shine? Or will Alvarez drive Team Conquest to a crucial win? Find out by catching “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” on One Sports this Monday, 5 April, at 9 p.m.
