The MPD shared the footage, which will be used in an investigation, with GMA News.

“We see in the CCTV that more or less 10 black, hooded male suspects who took him. This was planned,” MPD District Director Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco said.

Witnesses said the suspects, who were armed with various weapons, jumped out of two vehicles and rushed Hilario. A witness said the armed men pointed a gun on the victim, who was then dragged inside one vehicle. There was no shouting, with the act done silently and fast.

In the CCTV video, the suspects seemed to be looking for something, as they searched the compartment of Hilario’s motorcycle before fleeing.

Hilario joined the Philippine National Police in 2014. He has no bad remarks on his record except for one administrative case.

The kidnappers have yet to contact Hilario’s wife, Marifrance Gaspar, who appealed to the suspects to bring her husband back.

The family of the victim expressed their confusion over the kidnapping.

Cristalyn, Hilario’s sister, said Alan was alone in the station when the incident happened.

Francisco, meanwhile, said the matter was being investigated, and Hilario’s commander was being questioned.
