Multi-platinum pop star Zara Larsson kicks off the New Year with a brand new single “Talk About Love,” featuring hip-hop heavyweight Young Thug, also teasing further her fans with details of her forthcoming album Poster Girl.
Produced by Mike Sabath (Lizzo, Meghan Trainor, Jonas Brothers) the fiercely energetic, free-spirited new single finds Zara boldly declaring “I don’t wanna talk about love,” with a melodic verse from Young Thug. To bring the single to life, Zara teamed up with Ryder Ripps to direct the sultry music video featuring dazzling dance sequences.
The new single follows Zara’s latest hit “WOW,” which exploded on TikTok after it was featured in Netflix’s hit original film, Work It (and has amassed over 100 million streams, not to mention Zara’s show-stopping performance at this year’s MTV EMA Awards).
Meanwhile, Poster Girl was further introduced in dazzling style under lockdown with the socially-distanced video for “Love Me Land,” written by Zara alongside the powerhouse team of Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter (Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber).
“Talk About Love” marks a clean chapter from Zara’s huge debut international album So Good, which is still the second most-streamed debut album by a female artist ever on Spotify. Empowering, uplifting, and deeply personal, the 23-year-old artist is a new kind of a pop star, and a fearless young woman simply born to do it.
