DINALUPIHAN, Bataan—To make sure displaced workers here have something for New Year given the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Mayor Gila Garcia fast-tracked needed requirements for the 234 displaced workers here to be accommodated in the Department of Labor and Employment’s TUPAD Program.
On Sunday, the beneficiaries who have yet to complete the 10 days of work already received their allowance of P4,200 each.
The lady mayor also said: “Kasi di ba pandemic ngayon yung itatanim nila ay pagkain din nila para maging malusog sila.”
She said the vegetable seedlings are provided by the municipal government. Beneficiaries must submit three photos per day while working as accomplishment report.
