Roman Kryklia and Nong-O Gaiyanghadao showed why they’re the best in their respective divisions on Friday, December 18.
Both athletes walked out of the Singapore Indoor Stadium with their World Titles around their waists after the explosive ONE: COLLISION COURSE wowed martial arts fans at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Kryklia was untouchable as he scored a dominant unanimous decision win over Andrei “Mister KO” Stoica to keep his ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title in the main event of the evening.
The Ukranian punished Stoica from start to finish, putting on a kickboxing masterclass in his first World Title defense as he battered his Romanian foe with a variety of combinations over five rounds.
“Mister KO” tried to land one big shot to change the complexity of the match, but Kryklia was just too good and too big and was never threatened during the match.
While Kryklia needed five rounds to defend his World Title, Nong-O needed only three.
Nong-O successfully defended his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title with a third-round KO of Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym in the co-main event of the evening.
A lightning quick cross landed right on the jaw of the usually durable Rodlek and put an end to the match, giving the legendary Thai his seventh win in as many matches in ONE Super Series.
After the match, he called out ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan for a potential superfight in the future.
