French auctioneer Alexandre Giquello poses next an Allosaurus skeleton at the Drouot auction house, in Paris on October 9. More than 150 million years old, a rare Allosaurus skeleton, one of the oldest dinosaurs, considered by palaeontologists to be the “grandfather” of the legendary T-Rex, will be auctioned in Paris by Maison Binoche et Giquello on October 13 at the Drouot hotel. Almost 10 meters long and 3.5 meters high, the allosaurus is estimated to fetch between 1 and 1.2 million euros (about P69 million).
