“I’m really thankful because I didn’t expect to receive any award, especially during this time. I owe it to my ever-supportive fans. I always give my best in all my performances for them because that's one way of reciprocating their love and support for me,” related Garrett.

Meanwhile, Kyryll bagged the Best Performance By A New Female Recording Artist for her performance of “Silent Rumblings,” under GMA Music. She expressed her sincerest gratitude to the people behind this significant milestone.

“I was really surprised. It feels overwhelming to be recognized by PARI for my very first single. I don’t know how to put into words how grateful I am to GMA and my fans who have been there for me since The Clash,” she said.

The Awit Awards is given by the Philippine Association of the Recording Industry (PARI) to recognize the best in the Philippine music industry.
