Small exporters face challenges

Logistical challenges, a drop in product and service demand and difficult sourcing of raw materials affected small exporters during the pandemic, according to a survey conducted by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, the export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry.

CITEM conducted a two-week survey from May 22 to June 5, 2020, with 141 micro, small and medium enterprises as respondents to see how they were coping with the pandemic and how it could adjust plans and programs in response to their need to survive.
