The laboratory is equipped with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machines with a testing capacity of 2000 samples per day.

The laboratory will help to ramp up testing capability against COVID-19. Aside from the Bio-molecular laboratory in Clark, a PRC Bio-Molecular Laboratory with the same capacity was also put up in Subic while eight other facilities will also be opened in Batangas, Laguna, Mandaue City, Cebu, Isabela, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga City, Bacolod City, and Surigao.
