The Office of the Mayor of San Pedro City in Laguna continues to carry out its milk project “Wrapper and Plastic Residual Replacement of Milk” under the leadership of Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz.
“The redemption periods of our Wrapper Redemption Project have evolved due to the fact that they are postpone due to the ECQ Period. So, let us keep putting together plastic residuals,” Cataquiz said.
To join, residents may collect and exchange five kilograms of empty sachets, wrapper pouch or aluminum foil of any brand of powdered milk, 3-in-1 sachets, biscuits wrappers, and other plastic residuals in place of one kilo of milk. One kilogram of sachet wraps and other plastic residuals is worth 165 grams of Alaska Milk.
They can exchange collected wrappers, sachets and other plastic residuals at the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) on the second floor of San Pedro City Hall on July 21, August 25, Sept. 22, and Oct. 20.
“You can walk into our office from Monday to Friday, 8 AM-5PM, or call 8808-2020 local 208 to pick-up your plastic residuals. Thank you very much! Let us keep our environment clean and present for the next generation! Clean community, Healthy citizen!” said Cataquiz.
Project Super BB (Bawas Basura) and ALASKAkalikasan Wrapper Redemption Program is a joint project of the City Government of San Pedro and Alaska Milk Corp.
