Aspirants for the upcoming The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition are expected to go through the most rigorous selection process. After all, a $250,000 USD job offer and the chance to work under the guidance of ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong awaits them.
But not only do contestants need to impress Sityodtong, they also have to pass the watchful eyes of his advisors – the first one is Niharika Singh.
Singh had been the head of product at ONE Championship since mid-2019, and since then she has worked closely with Sityodtong in the boardroom, which makes her the perfect advisor for the amiable chairman.
“Niharika is one of my proteges. The thing that I like most about Niharika is that she has a heart of gold. She's kind, she’s compassionate, I think she embodies ONE Championship,” Sityodtong said.
“Of course, she’s a killer when it comes to business. She has intellectual horsepower. She has grit, she has resilience.
“Make no mistake, Niharika is probably tougher than I am. So she’s going to be fearless in giving her opinions.”
The 31-year-old believes that the time she has worked with Sityodtong is enough for her to gauge who truly deserves to get the once-in-a-lifetime job offer.
“As Chatri’s advisor, I know what goes through his mind,” Singh said. “I know what he looks for. I know what he’s looking for when he’s hiring someone. I am going to be his eyes and ears.”

The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition will be released in Q4 of 2020.
It will be produced by ONE Studios, the production arm of ONE Championship, under license from MGM Television.
The show will run on streaming and linear platforms in the Pan Asian region, while major television networks and digital channels will air it in over 150 countries.
