MILO has brought together another set of top athletes that parents should watch out for as they are set to teach kids fun and energizing physical activities in its latest edition to the MILO Champion IG LIVE.
On April 8 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., MILO Champions will energize Instagram with one-hour training sessions to help kids get active and healthy while staying indoors. National Athlete and SEA Games Gold Medalist Pauline Lopez will demonstrate basic taekwondo routines to develop agility and reflexes on her Instagram profile. For young aspiring runners following six-time National MILO Marathon Queen and 2016 Olympian Mary Joy Tabal, they can tune in to her profile to learn useful running exercises that kids can practice with mom and dad.
Meanwhile, at the same slots on April 15, National Team Members Juan and Javier Gomez de Liaño will show basic and fundamental basketball moves that kids can easily practice in the comfort of their home. Running icon Coach Rio de la Cruz will also go live on Instagram to lead simple and fun drills to stay in shape.
Each MILO Champion Live session will be preceded by short training videos through the MILO Champion Minute, a 60-second session that will give viewers a brief demo of personal training practices.
In support of World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Recommendation on Physical Activity for Health, the MILO Champion IG LIVE and Minute are the brand’s latest initiative aimed to promote overall health and wellness of children. WHO recommends that kids aged five and above should engage in physical activity for an accumulative 60 minutes every day to build their muscle strength, improve motor skills, and promote bone development. MILO’s new online programs are designed to teach simple but effective sports drills that both kids and parents can enjoy.
Along these sports programs, kids can make their daily exercise more energizing with a cup of MILO that contains Champion Energy Nutrients containing PROTOMALT®, Iron, and Vitamins B2, B3, B6 and B12.
