“Dito na po mismo sa lugar nila sa Ayala, puwede na silang mag-apply ng loan sa GSIS – sa pamamagitan ng GWAPS machine na ito,” Macasaet added.

With the installation of the new machine in Ayala, GSIS now has eight (8) GWAPS Kiosks operating in various barangays of the city such as Vitali, Curuan, Sangali, and KCC Mall.

To date, GSIS has 905 GWAPS machines deployed in shopping malls and government offices nationwide.

GWAPS, which stands for GSIS Wireless Automated Processing System, is an ATM-like machine which allows pensioners and government employees to access their membership records and loan data from the state pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).

Pensioners can also renew their active status online via the GWAPS kiosk.
