KSK training 218 goes full swing in Dinalupihan

Dinalupihan, Bataan­—Farmers from different barangays of this town recently gathered at D’Planners Farm School as SM Foundation launched its Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan (KSK) Farmers’ Training Program Batch 218.

The training program has since evolved into a holistic training program designed to prepare the participants to become productive and effective farmer entrepreneurs.

Apart from the Department of Agriculture, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Trade and Industry, SM Supermalls and SM Markets, SM Foundation has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to ensure the program’s sustainability.

The program seeks to create livelihood and employment opportunities to uplift and empower the farmers through skills enhancement.

Present at the program launch were Dinalupihan Mayor Gila Garcia; Trade Regional Director Carol Uy; TESDA Bataan Provincial Director Virginia Bondo;  DSWD Region III’s Ferdie Canlas;  DTI Bataan Provincial Director Nelin Cabahog;  Castro Tomas Agritechture Farm School’s Jhun Castro;  D’Planners President Angelita S. Fernando;  Macondray Philippines’ Prof. Allan Si; Savemore Dinalupihan Store Manager Meryll Manaloto; and SM City Ologapo PR Manager Neth Mortel.
