This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

SAVIOR was roaming around the subdivision when his furparent Mikey Velasquez saw him
Savior was looking for food on the streets where he is in danger of being hit by vehicles.
“We asked kuya guard and the neighbors if he had an owner, wala daw. Knowing it was dangerous for him to be on the streets, we decided to rescue home,” says Mikey.
“We bought a leash and came back for him. No one in the family knows how to care for dogs. He is the first furbaby member of the family,” Mikey adds.
Savior is turning one year old on March 11.
“He is well-loved and showered with hugs. He loves snuggles, “Mikey says.
Mikey adds,” He never showed aggressiveness towards anyone.”
Mikey’s family tries their best to care for Savior and brings him to the vet for his vaccines.
“We love him to bits!!” Mikey says.
KIMCHI used to live in the market.
“She would move from one stall to another. Everyone I asked says she has no hooman that's why I decided to take her home, “ Thomas Cruz shares.
“She gladly came with me. Kimchi is seven months old, “ Thomas says.
“Her three siblings were adopted by stall owners too,” Thomas adds.
At home, “Kimchi loves roaming freely and loves scratching our sofa leg,” Thomas shares.
“Kimchi will have a forever home with us, “ Thomas says.
