German artist Hans Bacher, the production designer behind Mulan and many other Disney movies, shares in a special exhibition his personal collection of toys from popular animated films from Disney Pictures and its subsidiary Pixar Animation Studios.
Bacher’s assemblage of toys is composed of much-coveted official stuffed plushies and figures from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo, as well as Pixar’s A Bug’s Life, Toy Story, and Monster’s Inc., among many other titles.
Spearheaded by De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Center for Campus Art and Animation Program, “The Toy Collection of Hans Bacher” exhibition is open to the public today until Feb. 22.
The showcase is at the Animation Hallway, on the 11th floor of School of Design and Arts Campus, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Pablo Ocampo (Vito Cruz) Street, Malate, Manila.
