As the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) marks its 100th season, the league has unveiled a new roster of courtside reporters who will bring live updates and insights from the sidelines.
Bianca Alejandre, a student from Lyceum of the Philippines University and a versatile dancer and host, will represent Davao. Mikayla Mindanao, a former Perpetual Lady Altas volleyball player, joins the team from Cainta. Mary Grace Baliday, a former José Rizal University student and current events host, steps in as San Juan City’s representative.
De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde’s Aleea Fedillaga will cover the games as a sports writer and events host from Crame. NCAA also introduces multi-awarded swimmer Kayla Afable from Makati City, and student jock Yen Supan from Tarlac.
Returning for the centennial season is Flo Del Agua, a former instructor and experienced courtside reporter from Sta. Mesa. Theater actress and content creator Erin Ty from Quezon City also joins the team, along with two male reporters—basketball player Fonsie Roldan from Pasig City and vlogger Riri Khalid from Basilan.
Returning reporters include Kristine San Agustin of Los Baños, Glycel Ann Galpo from Caloocan, and Julia Ong from Manila.
In celebration of its historic centennial season this 2024, the NCAA also recently launched a brand new logo that further showcases the athletic league’s longevity, solidity, adaptability, and strength as it continues to grow and evolve to the next century. With this season’s theme, “Siglo Uno: Inspiring Legacies,” the NCAA also inspires legacies of sportsmanship, competitiveness, hope, valor, camaraderie, and power through the generations.
NCAA Season 100 kicks off on Sept. 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena, with live coverage on GMA and HOA on Sept. 8.
