The University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman administration’s preparation for its recognition and graduation for students will continue despite the bad weather, a UP official said on Thursday.
UP Diliman Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Assistant Professor Roehl Jamon told Manila Standard that despite the delay in timetable for the said preparations, he assured that all will be set right before the commencement exercises this Sunday.
Jamon also said that the campus is now operational as floods subsided and debris from trees were also cleared following the onslaught of Habagat and Typhoon Carina.
Back to normal na tayo,” he added.
A total of 562 individuals in the campus were affected by the said bad weather according to data from Barangay UP Campus.
UP Health Services, an attached unit of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs which Jamon headed, held a medical mission for the affected individuals on Thursday.
