THE Caloocan City government has partnered with the Department of Labor and Employment to launch “JobStart,” a program that aims to provide career coaching, life skills, and technical training for the youth.
At least 50 beneficiaries were selected by the city government to start the said training in which they will receive P400 daily allowance.
According to Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan, the program also seeks to provide a head-start for the beneficiaries, especially those who are planning to be employed in the long-run, whether in private or government service.
The training will last 10 days, preparing the learners in workplace integration and referring them to potential employers.
