“For the first six months of 2024 alone, we have distributed 42,000 land titles, and we will try to distribute 100,00 land titles by the end of 2024,” he promised.

DAR has also provided various support services, including 219 farm-to-market roads worth P2.3 billion of 151 kilometers nationwide.

To date, there are 89 ongoing constructions of farm-to-market roads comprising 135 kilometers worth P2.1 billion, DAR said.

The agency has also completed 116 irrigation projects covering 3,800 hectares nationwide worth P1.3 billion, and has provided 5,451 units of farm machineries and equipment for 1,450 agrarian reform beneficiary organizations nationwide worth P262 million.

The DAR chief vowed to deliver more provision of support services, storage facilities, tissue culture facilities and greenhouses to help the farmers in the storage and propagation of their crops.

He said DAR’s accomplishments underscored the Marcos administration’s commitment to agrarian reform and rural development by ensuring land ownership and provision of support services to empower farmers and foster sustainable agricultural practices.

He took pride in saying DAR has been cited by the President’s 8888 Complaint Center and Civil Service Commission for its 100 percent Outstanding Action, Performance and Resolution for referred transactions from the public in 2023.
