Vibal Foundation recently joined the University of Santo Tomas’ Miguel de Benavides Library in marking another illustrious milestone: the digitization of Excelsior Magazine, the finest Spanish language magazine in the Philippines.
The magazine, published from 1905 to 1940, has been digitized with the support of benefactors including Vibal Foundation Inc.
During the turnover of digital copies to the proprietors and benefactors held recently, Vibal was represented by its Executive Director Kristine Mandigma and editor Prof. Jorge Mojarro, who contributed in the description and indexing of the magazine.

The successful completion of this digitization project “demonstrates the Library’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and making historical information accessible to all.”
