Philippine Airlines (PAL) celebrated International Flight Attendant Day 2024 by providing relaxation, wellness, and entertainment for over 800 cabin crew who were on-duty, on reserve, and on training.
PAL Marketing spearheaded this two-day event in coordination with PAL Cabin Services from May 30 to 31 at the PAL Inflight Center (IFC) in Pasay.
The two-day pampering, rejuvenation and wellness sessions delighted PAL’s flight attendants and served as a welcome break from their work schedule.
Physical activities from basketball to hammer games, the lively hosting of guest-emcees and the engaging performances by the PAL Cabin Services Dance Group revved up the celebration.
PAL executives, led by PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng, graced the event.
“With our cabin crews’ daily grind of buong-pusong alaga to ensure the well-being and safety of our passengers, our specially-prepared PAL International Flight Attendant Day celebration is our way of giving back to our key frontliners. This demonstrates how much PAL values its employees,” Alvin Miranda, PAL vice president for Marketing said.
PAL Assistant vice president for Cabin Services Gerry Rustia said, “We are grateful to the Company for supporting and recognizing our dedicated frontliners for representing PAL’s distinct brand of service. This event is a ‘first’, and we look forward to celebrating this day in this novel way in the years to come.”
